HALLELUJAH! WE WILL GIVE GOD THE HIGHEST PRAISE
Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous ordinances. Great peace have those who love your law, nothing can make them stumble. (Psalm 119:164-165 NRSV)
At the guidance and under the unction of the Holy Spirit, we declare this year the Year of Praise!
This is the year that we focus exclusively on praise. We are encouraged to praise God seven times each day. Each day, we will read a scripture that focuses on praise.
This year we are changing our mind set, we are removing the debris of apathy, we are dismantling our complaint center, and we are demolishing negativity and pessimism. It is time to erect the Sanctuary of Praise in our hearts and in our minds.
Psalm 22 tells us that God resides in the praise of the righteous. So, if we want God to take up residence in our hearts, if we want to witness the miracles of God’s grace and power, then we must create the atmosphere of praise so that the manifestation of God’s glory will fill God’s Sanctuary.
We come before God with holy hands lifted up in worship, with clean hearts open to God’s Word, with sanctified minds ready to learn the lessons of faith and obedience, and with tongues of fire giving praise to our God!
Hallelujah! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord!
